Attorney Profile
I graduated from Westmont College, Santa Barbara, in 1990 then went on to receive my law degree from Western State University in 1997. During law school I volunteered as a Certified Law Student with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. In this capacity I was able to prepare and argue pre-trial motions on misdemeanor cases in front of the judge under the supervision of a Deputy District Attorney. While Bar results were pending I was hired as a Senior Law Clerk in the Law and Motion Unit where I prepared and argued Pre-Trial motions on Felony cases. These opportunities gave me invaluable experience in the court room, arguing cases, allowing me to begin the process of developing and honing my litigation skills; something that was not part of the text book case studies in law school. This is when I knew I wanted to be a criminal attorney.
Upon completion of my law degree and passing the Bar Exam as a first-time taker, I was hired as a Deputy District Attorney with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. As a Deputy District Attorney I handled countless numbers of misdemeanor criminal cases, felony preliminary hearings, pre-trial motions related to various legal issues, and successfully tried cases in front of a jury. This is where I developed an understanding of how to be successful in the court room and, more importantly, in front of 12 jurors during Trial.
I worked as a Prosecutor for five years before deciding to open my own law firm where I have devoted my entire practice to defending DUI cases in Orange County, where I have lived most of my life. My promise to all my clients is that I will provide reliable, aggressive legal representation to the conclusion of your case, personally. I will handle your case from the initial consultation through Trial, if necessary. I know what the prosecution is looking for when they evaluate and file DUI cases so please take advantage of this knowledge and call me today.
